1. What is a cookie?

 

A cookie is a small text file which is stored in the browser on your device (computer, cell phone...).

We use the term "cookies" to refer to cookies, embeddings, trackers and similar technologies.

The transfer of personal data to the United States is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adopted by the European Commission on July 10, 2023. The decision states that the United States will ensure an adequate level of protection - comparable to that of the European Union - for personal data transferred from the EU to US companies under the new framework. Based on the new adequacy decision, personal data can be transferred securely from the EU to US companies participating in the framework without the need to implement additional data protection safeguards.
