The transfer of personal data to the United States is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adopted by the European Commission on July 10, 2023. The decision states that the United States will ensure an adequate level of protection - comparable to that of the European Union - for personal data transferred from the EU to US companies under the new framework.
